About The Jewish Vine Foundation
The JewishVine Foundation is a non-profit organization created in 2007 following the 2nd Lebanon War in 2006.
It aims to sponsor charity projects in Israel and focuses on improving the daily lives of children and young students in the schools and hospitals of the city of Kyriat Shmona.
Subsequent to the Hezbollah attacks in the summer of 2006, many homes and public buildings of the town where left destroyed. A year and a half on, the victims are still struggling to make ends meet, as the northern region of Israel is amongst the poorest in the country. For that reason, any seemingly small donation from abroad translates into a powerful force to bring about change in a place where Jewish civilians are increasingly becoming the forefront of a dreadful conflict.
The goal of the Jewish Vine foundation is to encourage cooperation between Jewish people both in Israel and abroad and to build a strong web of support to help those of us who suffer the most. |
